    • Q: I'm interested in your Buyer rebate program -- what's the catch?
      A:
      There really is no catch. When you purchase a home through us, our share of the commission is usually 2.4% of the purchase price. We will give you 20% of this amount back to you as a rebate at closing - no strings attached!
    • Q: We learned about a home through another broker, but would like to work with you to take advantage of the buyer rebate program. Can we do this?
      A:
      Generally, no. The broker that "procures cause" is entitled to the commission. To qualify, you need to work with us from the start.
    • Q: If I see a property listed on your website that I would like to see, who should I contact?
      A:
      You can contact our office for any property listed on our website, even if the listing broker is another company. One of our agents can assist you with this or any other home.
    • Q: What is the Multiple Listing Service?
      A:
      The MLS is an organization of real estate brokers which is designed to allow members to share their listings with one another. It allows the buyer to work with a single agent to find any home listed by any cooperating broker. Otherwise, you would have to contact each and every individual agent for their listings.
    • Q: I found a property that is not positioned correctly on the map. Why is that?
      A:
      MLS sends us map coordinates with each listing, and we display the property at those coordinates. Unfortunately, for a variety of reasons, the coordinates are not always accurate. Sometimes the address for the listing is not complete enough, or the property may be in a new subdivision that the software isn't aware of yet.

      You can always switch to the list view, which will display all matching properties even if they could not be mapped correctly.
    • Q: How can I get notified when new listings become available?
      A:
      After you do a search, you can click on the "Save This Search" link on the left. You will be prompted to give your search a name. At that point, you will have the option of receiving email notifications each day when new matching properties come on the market. Note that you must register an account with us to use this function.
    • Q: I'm an investor. What are the advantages of working with Elite Properties?
      A:
      As a property management company, we work with a large pool of other investors who are often looking to buy, sell, or exchange properties. Many of these properties are not even listed yet, but if you tell us what you are looking for, we can shop around with out clients to see if something might be available.
    • Q: What is the relationship between Elite Properties and ListWisconsin.com?
      A:
      ListWisconsin.com is separate company under the same ownership as Elite Properties, Inc. Elite Properties, Inc. is a licensed real estate broker, and Wisconsin law prohibits brokers from advertising properties unless the broker has signed a listing contract with the seller. This prohibits us from advertising for sale by owner (FSBO) properties on our website, so we had a to create a new company to do so.
